MIGS25 – Canada’s largest and longest-running video game industry event, will take place November 11–12, 2025

The Montréal International Game Summit (MIGS) is back, bigger then ever this year with the event moving to Grand Quay in the Old Port of Montréal. This event is organized by La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec and produced in partnership with XP Gaming and is doubling in size from 2024.

MIGS 2025 will welcome thousands of developers, publishers, investors, and service providers from across Canada and more than 25 countries worldwide to exchange knowledge, secure partnerships, and expand opportunities in North America. This B2B focused gaming event is a terrific chance for developers and fans to see what the industry is about, how it is evolving and what is coming next.

On top of the many North American game developers and partners MIGS will be welcoming a strong International presence with over 40% of invited speakers coming from outside Canada. Industry leaders will represent countries including Sweden, Denmark, United States, Poland, Switzerland, and China, with speakers from Arrowhead (Helldivers II), Savvy Games (Monopoly GO), Sandfall Interactive (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33), and 11 bit studios (Frostpunk) to name a few.

Of course Canadian voices will be represented, including Playstack, publisher of the hit game Balatro. The newer venue also adds expanded content such as the MIGS Audio Summit presented by Audiokinetic, celebrating the company’s 25th anniversary and showcasing the globally renowned Wwise Tour.

Jason Lepine, Founder, XP Gaming when asked about the conference says “MIGS is about connection, from indies taking their first steps to seasoned studios shaping global hits, Montréal is where the international games industry comes together to collaborate, exchange ideas, and drive the business of creativity forward.”

I have covered MIGS a few times in the past and am beyond excited to head back to Montréal, Canada in November to see what they have in store. Expect interviews with leading voices in the gaming industry, game previews and reports on the many presentations and panels that will be held over the 2 day conference.

Tickets are available to the general public and professionals. MIGS is expanding access with a new Content Pass for emerging professionals and curious creatives exploring game development. Available at a discounted rate of $349 CAD until October 17 (regular price $399 CAD), the pass includes:

  • Access to 40+ expert-led talks
